First order of business was swearing in our newly elected officers.

1stst Vice Commander Steve Burrill announced the Post's new website--
AMEICANLEGIONFL.VET There are still some bugs to be smoothed out but we should find the site a great source of information. Please send any suggestions to 1st Vice Burrill to assist him perfecting the site.
2nd Vice Commander Karla van Horn reported that all three Boys State participants had an enjoyable and educational experience in Tallahassee.
3rd Vice Commander Janet Taylor announced that the Grand Marshalls for this year's Veteran's parade will be 10 WWII veterans.
Judge Advocate Nerina Stepanovsky shared:

- The first group or Valor Guards have completed all but their orientation. If you wish to participate in this activity, please contact Judge Advocate Stepanovsky.
Senior Post Service Officer Jim Taylor reported the VSO processed * claims, had 3 intent to file, and 15 miscellaneous inquiries for the month. The office is open MWF 1000-1400 and in Kings Point on Mondays from 1000 until ...
Post Commander Paul Wheat announced that long-serving Finance Officer William "Bill" Wilcox would be resigning the position for health reasons. Cdr Wheat appointed Jeffrey Strey to the position effective April 15, 2026.
New member Bob Claycomb is the Oratorical Chairman and plans to visit area high schools to foster interest in this scholarship program sponsored by the Legion.

Karen Brown and Mission Barbeque hosted our annual membership luncheon. Vice Commander Janet Taylor helped set up. Everyone enjoyed the Mission Barbeque luncheon following the meeting.
